About us

UTAC CERAM is a private, independent group providing services in all areas of land transport: Regulation and Approval, testing and technical expertise (environment, safety, durability and reliability), certification, events and driver training.

Over 500 employees work at two tests centres at Linas-Montlhéry (Essonne) and Mortefontaine (Oise), and also at our customers' sites in France and abroad, or through our subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, North America, Russia, China and Japan.

UTAC CERAM also has two official functions concerning roadworthiness (O.T.C.) and standardisation (B.N.A.).

From 1st February 2021, UTAC CERAM is merging with the British automotive test and validation group Millbrook to create a market-leading group in vehicle testing, homologation and emerging technologies for autonomous, connected and electric vehicles.
Millbrook has a range of test tracks and laboratories in the UK, the USA and Northern Finland. It also designs, builds, installs, and services dynamometer test systems and associated data acquisition and test system automation software.
