General Manager USA – Certification Business development

Site USA (Detroit)
Tasks You will report to the International and Development Director. You will be located in the USA (ideally in Detroit). Your mission will be organized as follow:
  • General Management
    • Supervise the existing operations with local office and be the interface with French technical services when needed
    • Recruit local human resources when needed and be the interface with the French HR team
    • Manage operations from order to invoice while being the interface with French HQ when needed (Sales, Finance and IT services)
    • Provide a detailed reporting on a regular basis through qualitative and quantitative analysis (P&L)
    • Ensure local site operational management (Offices installations, administrative set-up, IT…)
  • Type Approval Operations
    • Manage the local team to ensure consistency and efficiency of operations with close contact with French certification team
    • Propose a business development plan to promote and develop certification activity with local clients and prospects
    • Ensure the implementation of the development plan
The above duties are not limited and might be extended upon request from management
Qualifications Desired skills and experiences:
  • Master degree in Business or Engineering ideally with experience in certification
  • Past experience working for a certification body or an OEM with experience in certification (system certification)
  • Business development and management experience would be a plus
  • Technical knowledge and previous experience in the Automotive Industry would be a differentiation criteria
