ADAS AND AD TEST SIMULATION: UTAC CERAM PRESENTS PLUG & PLAY SCENARIOS
The collision free society objective as well as the growing number of driver assistance systems (ADAS) fitted to vehicles create a significant increase in the number of possible scenarios to be validated by manufacturers and equipment suppliers. UTAC CERAM has therefore designed a unique ‘plug & play’ pack of realistic ADAS & AD scenarios which can be made available as add ons to the SCANeR Studio software from AV Simulation. UTAC CERAM's objective with this new software package is to make available consumer protocols (NCAP) and regulatory protocols for all existing geographical areas (such as Europe, USA, China, Japan...).
The scenarios built from physical testing data also integrate digitized test tracks and are designed by engineers from the TEQMO test center, in direct contact with the physical test teams. Thus, customers will be able to develop their products for future regulations and future NCAP scenarios in the virtual (desktop) domain, using highly-representative models which will save the need for many of the time consuming and costly early stage physical track based tests which will significantly reduce their development costs.
