UTAC CERAM, PARTNER OF THE BRAVE PROJECT
The BRAVE project (BRidging gaps for the adoption of the Automated VEhicles) is an international consortium whose objective is to accelerate the adoption of the autonomous vehicle by the public, while taking into account the needs and requirements of users, other users and stakeholders. Among the 10 international partners, UTAC CERAM is responsible for the validation of the autonomous vehicle prototype, as well as the development of the innovative new test protocols. Five of these new protocols have been adopted to be used on the test tracks to validate the autonomous vehicle developed for BRAVE by the University of Alcala (Madrid). It is now the task of UTAC CERAM to prove the advantages of this new autonomous vehicle as well as validating the test protocols developed in the appropriate working groups (EuroNCAP, UN-ECE WP29, EU-GSR) which all fed into this new project.
