UTAC CERAM, partner of world records
UTAC CERAM was solicited by Porsche France and Porsche GB for the establishment of an unusual record for the Guiness Book.
Our engineers went to the Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport to oversee the new Guinness World Records title for Heaviest aircraft pull by a production car. The record was set by Porsche a Porsche Cayenne.
The 4,8 length SUV has towed an Air France Airbus A380 of 285 tons over a total distance of 42 meters. The Porsche used to set the record is a Cayenne S Diesel, with a power of 385 horsepower and a torque engine of 850 newton meters.
This record was then repeated Porsche Cayenne Turbo S with its 4.8-liter V8 engine of 570-horsepower and 800 newton meters of torque.
After the record was set, performance testing and scrutiny of every major component and electronic system on the vehicle was carried out in order to provide certification that the car was to production standard.
