AUTOMOTIVE CYBERSECURITY: DECISIVE STEPS IN ITS STANDARDIZATION AT THE BNA
The UTAC CERAM Group BNA, Automobile Standardization Bureau, has set up a working group dedicated to the draft standard for automotive cybersecurity, made necessary by the development of ADAS and connected vehicles. This working group, led by the BNA, enables dialogue between the various experts representing the French automotive industry.
Its purpose is to develop the French industry position in order to help guide and contribute ideas along with other international bodies on the technical content of the standard, which is expected to be published in early 2021. The text will serve as the basis for all future international regulations on automotive cybersecurity. This project will be published as ISO-SAE 21434, and will replace SAE J3061.
